John Clai joins GEC as Quality Assurance Director, and Project Manager for Special Projects, starting from September 1, 2001. John brings a wealth of experience in project management and facilities engineering. John holds a graduate degree in electrical engineering from University of Illinois, and MSML degree from National Louis University. He worked with Lucent Technologies for more than 18 years, and his last position with Lucent was Manager of Engineering for their Lisle/Naperville complex.

GEC's project, "Life Safety Work for Schaumburg High School" gets First Place ASHRAE 2000 - Excellence in Engineering Award from Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE.
